Support Request: Problem with content publication on SiteKiosk using SiteCaster - Netline S.A.S - Italy

Good Morning,



we are Netline from Italy and we are registered like partner on your website. Our customer number is: 1856669.



We contact you because we have actived a trial on siteremote.net.



Our scenario is:



we have a TOTEM (a machine with Windows 10 connected to a monitor with touchscreen function). On this machine we have installed SiteKiosk client and configured it with our user-name, password and registered correctly on the network.



In fact, from our control panel in Siteremote.net we can see the machine connected (green status).



The problem that we find is when we try a publication of the content. We created a content with SiteCaster, but we can’t publish on the machine. The message that we receive is in attachment.

We think that problem is related to license.

We have correctly actived free trial (30 days). Can you help us ?



It is possibile to have a valid license to try product ?

Hello,

I am sorry for the inconvenience. Currently the SiteRemote server does not automatically generate the SiteCaster trial license. We are looking into this.

A SiteCaster trial license has been added manually, so you can continue testing.

Hi,

OK, thank you. Now I can publish content correctly via SiteCaster.

But, I have another problem. On SiteKiosk I can't view my content. It remains on the white screen and continually ask me for registration. I put "Register later", but some time after I must to do logoff.

Hello,

if you are having problems starting SiteKiosk, make sure you are using the latest version of SiteKiosk, which is 9.7.5324 available here: https://www.provisio.com/en-GB/Downloads/VersionHistory.aspx. Especially because of this problem: https://www.provisio.com/en-GB/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=25283.

Hi,

I have Windows version 9.7.5324 and I can login without problem to SiteKiosk's account.

After published the content in machine overview state was red colour.

-SiteKiosk is configured like tutorial: https://www.provisio.com/web/us/tutorials/sitecaster-interactive-digital-signage-cms
-Machine is online, before public content I see it green

Some ideas?
