Support Request: Adding flags to start chrome

Description

We are having issues with the later versions of chrome disabling touch events api... (So we cant drag in our application)

If we run chrome with "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --touch-events our application works, but we dont have a way of doing this in Site Kiosk.

Do you have a suggestion?

Thank you,
Vedran

Hi Vedran,

Thank you for your inquiry. You can find instructions here on our Developer Blog on using command line switches: https://devblog.provisio.com/post/2016/09/19/Starting-SiteKiosk-Windows-with-Chrome-Command-Line-Switches.aspx. There is no guarantee that all command line switches will work with Chromium CEF inside of SiteKiosk.

SiteKiosk and Google Chrome are Chromium based however both differ from each other in the available feature set. Also some features are not supported because we are a secure browser. There is a chance that your feature is only possible in Google Chrome itself by using command line parameters.

You can test Chromium CEF outside of SiteKiosk:
(unzip 2x and run the cefclient.exe in the "Release" folder) which is currently used in SiteKiosk 9.8.5463 (Chromium 81.0.4044.138 Windows 32 Bit):
http://opensource.spotify.com/cefbuilds/cef_binary_81.3.10%2Bgb223419%2Bchromium-81.0.4044.138_windows32_client.tar.bz2

Best regards,
Andre.
