Support Request: Passport form need to be downaloaded and printed

Description

Hi, I need to download and print a passport form from this:

https://pptform.state.gov/PasswordWizardMain.aspx?Submit2=Complete+Online+%26+Print

When I click on that link I should get a download message for a PDF file and then I should print it, but with sitekiosk I get a download on File Manager for a aspx file:

PasswordWizardMain.aspx and of course it can't be opened with Adobe Reader.

Please help!!!!!!

The issue could possibly be related to the SiteKiosk download manager for this PDF. Do the following to use the Internet Explorer download dialog box instead of the SiteKiosk download manager.

1. Right-click your configuration file and open with Notepad.
2. Press Ctrl+F and search for the following line:

<msdownloaddlg-urls />

3. Replace the line you found in step 2 with the following:

<msdownloaddlg-urls>
<url> http://aWebPage.com/ </url>
</msdownloaddlg-urls>

The URL line stands for the URL you want to allow the IE download dialog for. Save and test.

Note:
using the following will enable the IE download dialog for all downloads.

<msdownloaddlg-urls>
<url>http://*</url>
<url>https://*</url>
</msdownloaddlg-urls>

Hello Ward and thanks for your help.

Almost done... I'm now able to downlaod the pdf file but now Adobe says it won't open the file because is already in use or it's damaged. Any idea?

Thanks again,
Filippo.

Does the PDF open properly in IE outside of SiteKiosk? Do you see this issue occur in SiteKiosk in both Start Once and Autostart mode?

To continue troubleshooting I will need you to send me a link and description of how to replicate the issue. Please do not post that information here in the public support forum. Send that information in an email to ward(at)provisio.com.
