Support Request: Email Notifications

Description

I'm setup to get the email notifications if there are any issues with my kiosk.

Whenever I have automatic restarts scheduled through SiteKiosk, or go into the SiteRemote and hit restart, I still get an "Unexpected windows shutdown" email.

Is there a way to disable that notification for the times when I schedule restarts or restart through SiteRemote? It makes sense to get that email if the machine shuts down via any method other than through SiteKiosk.

Normally you will only receive this error when Windows is not shutdown properly (i.e. power loss of using the power button to force shutdown etc).

Which version of Windows are you running? What do you see in the Windows Event Viewer after this occurs? An unexpected Windows shutdown will normally be logged in the Event Viewer.

The only way to resolve this aside from turning off email alerts for these system errors will be to determine why Windows is recognizing the shutdowns as improper.
