We have kiosks that we have deployed to our fields offices so that the public and look up tax and business license information. They go to dor.wa.gov, select login, select forgot next to the SAW User ID, type in an email address, select I'm not a robot, a pop up will appear wanting you to select specific things (captcha), select verify. Even if you select everything correctly the green check box will appear, the pictures stay on the screen and so you select on the browser screen behind the picture to get to the browser again and select cancel, then a pop up appears that the device is in sabotage mode.

I was able to replicate this issue. You can deactivate anti-sabotage mode by doing the following:

Close the SiteKiosk configuration editor then open your SiteKiosk configuration file in Notepad and search for:

<antisabotage enabled="true"/>


then change that line to:

<antisabotage enabled="false"/>


Save and test.

We were able to modify the configuration and the sabotage is no longer happening. We are still having an issue with the captcha not going away. After searching your forums it appears that someone is having the exact issue we are.

You will need to switch to the Chrome based browser in SiteKiosk under >Basic >Start Page & Browser to resolve this issue. We are looking in to a work around for that in the IE-based browser but I do not have an ETA for that.
