Support Request: Mic and Speakers disabled

Description

We are using version 9, and needed a locked down workstation for using Zoom only.
Are issue is when they pull up Zoom, the mic and speakers do not work in the meeting. You can test the sound and can hear, but not in the meeting.
When we exit out of kiosk, everything works fine.
I did use a previous config file as a template, so don't know if something was set on it or not.
I've looked thru the setting as best as I could but couldn't see anything dealing with USB, mic or speakers. Can you help me figure out where these settings would be?
Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. Could you tell under which user account Zoom was installed? Normally, you will need to authorize "Computer Audio" vs "Phone Audio" in most meeting apps. Do you get to see this screen? Was there a log in SiteKiosk Logs when you attempt to join the meeting that a window was being blocked? SiteKiosk uses the Windows drivers installed on the system and is unable to block peripherical devices (hard drive permissions are set in registry for the restricted user before use). Using the Zoom app, you should be able to choose these devices freely.

You can set the starting volume of your speakers in >>Configuration>>Start Page & Browser>>Advanced, but they do not disable the speakers. To change the speaker volume in SiteKiosk, you will need to allow access to the taskbar(SiteKiosk version) in the same section.

SiteKiosk Log files - C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Logfiles (yyyy-mm-dd.txt files)

Best regards,
Andre.
