Support Request: Issues with Chrome engine and CloudFlare

Description

Hi SiteKiosk Support Team
We are currently running SiteKiosk v9.9.6466 on Windows 10, configured to use the Chromium engine for our Public Access Terminals.
We have recently enabled a security feature on CloudFlare to counteract a large number of automated BOT based attacks which his causing issues with our Public Access systems. It challenges the user with a CAPTCHA which is ticked and moves on, however the browser session is then reset and the challenge look is restarted again.
URL to the service in question: https://digital.coastline.com.au
A successful connection will prompt you with a customer number and password to login.
Not 100% sure but it may be session-cookie related or something is being done to cause the session to be reset and re-challenged.
I will endeavor to gain access to a current .skcfg file if required, however we kept the configuration basic and we have not enabled anything but what is normally turned on by default (other than setting URLS, choosing Chromium engine and applicable key-combos to allow us to get back into the console to shut it down.
Help?
Thanks!

Hi Ross,

Thank you for the inquiry. We are able to replicate this with both products SiteKiosk Classic and SiteKiosk Online. This is due to changes Cloudflare made with web request headers that is not supported by the SiteKiosk browsers for the time being.

For example:
"Error with Permissions-Policy header: Origin trial controlled feature not enabled: 'interest-cohort'."

We are in the process of reviewing a solution for this. Please allow some time for further feedback.

Best regards,
Andre.

Hi Ross,

Upon further review, Cloudflare is using an experimental feature of the Chrome browser which is not part of standard for Chromium or Electron. As one of our software uses Electron, these features are not available for that. Despite this, we do not intend to implement experimental features at all, which are not part of the standard in our secure browsers and cannot be added while still ensuring the security of the system.

You can reach out to your vendor, to see if an arrangement can be made using another non-experimental feature.

Best regards,
Andre.
