Digital Signage is discontinued and can only be used with existing configuration files. Please use SiteCaster instead.

Besides transforming your Android tablet into a secure kiosk tablet SiteKiosk Android can also be used to display digital signage campaigns.

To create digital signage campaigns and distribute it to your Android tablets you need a SiteRemote account and your tablet must be registered with it. Under the Digital Signage tab of your SiteRemote account you can upload content to create campaigns. You can then assign the campaigns to broadcasts and send them to your tablets. You have different options to display the digital signage content on your tablet.

You can either transform you tablet into a digital signage display by selecting digital signage as its main purpose on the Application page of the SiteKiosk Android configuration. Make sure to check the additional SiteCaster configuration options to find the settings that best suit your needs.

Alternatively you can display the digital signage content only during activation of the screensaver. To do this please go to the Screensaver page and tap on Define action. Now you can choose SiteCaster. Make sure to check the additional SiteCaster configuration options to find the settings that best suit your needs.

Note:
Depending on the Internet connection of the tablet and the size of the digital signage broadcast that needs to be transferred to the device it can take some time until the digital signage content arrives after you published it under your SiteRemote account.
